Conservative therapy is that part of dentistry that deals mainly with the reconstruction of teeth damaged by caries.
To treat a bad tooth is needed, ideally, a single session: with the help of a local anesthetic, using materials completely biocompatible and aesthetic (composite materials) the result is a reconstruction of the same color of the tooth, very resistant and lasting. Conservative therapy includes techniques that allow to solve other problems such as tooth fracture, the correction of imperfections of the front teeth "cosmetic dentistry" or even the setting (in an intermediate step) of teeth made furniture from the disease Periodontal (splinting). Conservative therapy is concerned finally prevention: sealed with the resin flowing grooves naturally in teeth prevents the formation of caries. |
